DAGOSPIA, lettera 7. Ci meritiamo l'armata brancaleone del governo Conte?

_____________________________ Lettera 7 ----------------------------- Dagosapiens, ti ricordi? 24 Novembre 2020, Conte: “Sul Recovery plan non siamo assolutamente in ritardo”. Ma poi? 21 Dicembre 2020: “Stop a ritardi e polemiche sul Recovery”. E quel famoso 4 Febbraio: “In Italia è tutto sotto controllo”. Va avanti così, sparacchiando a destra e manca, a capo del suo governo-armata-brancaleone, il nostro …caro leader! Quello che ancora non ha deciso se nei capelli deve farsi la riga a destra o a sinistra. Quello che dà un colpo al cerchio e uno alla botte che intanto resta vuota. Quello che si tiene un Casalino come portavoce e un bibitaro come ministro degli Esteri con i quali va -gloriandosene!- a umiliarci ai piedi di un fantoccio in Libia. Quello che sa fare il miglior baciamano all' Angelona Merkel mentre lei ci frega i vaccini. Quello che soltanto grazie al Covid resta incollato alla poltrona. Quello che per mancanza di persone di vera statura politica dovremo sorbirci anche nel 2021. Sì: ci terremo il Conte, il suo lacchè del Grande Fratello, il Giggino e tutti i loro pseudo-alleati; nonché i saccenti sorrisetti del loro alfiere para-guru del Fattaccio Quotidiano, il quale ‘sto suo premierino lo deve per forza sostenere altrimenti sarebbe il suo terzo cavallo perdente e il bronzo non basterebbe per la sua faccia. China forces uighurs into labour in cotton fields

China is forcing hundreds of thousands of Uighurs and other minorities into hard, manual labour in the vast cotton fields of its western region of Xinjiang, according to new research seen by the BBC. Based on newly discovered online documents, it provides the first clear picture of the potential scale of forced labour in the picking of a crop that accounts for a fifth of the world’s cotton supply and is used widely throughout the global fashion industry. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alongside a large network of detention camps, in which more than a million are thought to have been detained, allegations that minority groups are being coerced into working in textile factories have already been well documented. The Chinese government denies the claims, insisting that the camps are “vocational training schools” and the factories are part of a massive, and voluntary, “poverty alleviation” scheme. But the new evidence suggests that upwards of half a million minority workers a year are also being marshalled into seasonal cotton picking under conditions that again appear to raise a high risk of coercion. “In my view the implications are truly on a historical scale,” Dr Adrian Zenz, a senior fellow at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation in Washington who uncovered the documents, told the BBC. “For the first time we not only have evidence of Uighur forced labour in manufacturing, in garment making, it’s directly about the picking of cotton, and I think that is such a game-changer. “Anyone who cares about ethical sourcing has to look at Xinjiang, which is 85% of China’s cotton and 20% of the world’s cotton, and say, ‘We can’t do this anymore.’” https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/extra/nz0g306v8c/china-tainted-cotton

(file photo) Share DUSHANBE -- Tajik authorities say they have detained opposition leader Mahmurod Odinaev on a hooliganism charge days after the politician went missing. The Tajik Prosecutor-General's Office said that Odinaev, deputy chairman of the opposition Social Democratic party, was located and arrested on December 5 in Dushanbe. According to the statement, Odinaev allegedly conducted an act of hooliganism in a military draft office in the western city of Hisor in late October, where prosecutors allege he confronted officials over the conscription of his son Habibullo. Just three days before Odinaev's arrest, Interior Ministry spokesman Nusratullo Mahmudzoda said that police were been looking for the politician who had been missing for several days, citing the lack of a request from his relatives. Relatives of Odinaev told RFE/RL that he went missing on November 20 after he posted a request on Facebook asking Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali to allow him and his party's activists to stage a protest over food-price hikes. According to the relatives, they officially turned to police several times to ask law enforcement officers to begin a search for the missing politician. The relatives also said police questioned them regarding the Odinaev's mysterious disappearance. The Interior Ministry said last month that Odinaev's son, Shaihmuslihiddin Rizoev, was charged with hooliganism over his alleged involvement in a brawl. Earlier in October, Odinaev said that unknown attackers had severely beaten his son, adding that the assault was a part of a pressure campaign being waged against him for his political activities. The Social Democratic Party is the only opposition party currently functioning in Tajikistan. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, who has tightly ruled the former Soviet republic since 1992, has been criticized for cracking down on opposition political groups, rights defenders, and independent journalists.
